|"Monarca is a fabulous villa. The web site photos do not do it justice because you cannot see the amazing panoramic view of the Tuscan countryside. We had a lovely relaxing stay. I would book this villa again in a heartbeat. Excellent service! Above and beyond :)" - S. Ebert
"We stayed for one week. Our key holder came and found us. There was a street fair and the street we needed was blocked off so we could not find our way. She was AWESOME. The villa was perfect. So many different indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. Pizza night was really fun. The chef and his wife were amazing - highly recommend. It is a great location - we went to Orvieto, Montepulciano, Siena and many more small towns." - B. Smith
"The description and pictures did not do the villa justice. It was beyond expectations!" -J. Dolbow
"This excellent home was palatial with excellent amenities, furnishings, towels, linens, dishes, artwork, expensive rugs, comfortable beds, three outside eating areas, BBQ, wood pizza oven, beautiful pool and "Tuscan" views of vineyards, other villas, and distance towns. Fully fenced and gated." - R. Towery
"The villa was absolutely gorgeous. It very much exceeded expectations. Often web pictures will make a place look better than it actually is. Not in this case. If anything it was better than the pictures. We wished we could have had more time at the villa. Great location for day trips." - J. Becker
"Monarca exceeded our expectations and met our needs perfectly. The location was ideal and the villa was idyllic!" - N and B Landry
"The villa was spectacular, beyond our expectations. We really enjoyed the time we spent there. Perfect location in close proximity to the hill towns of Tuscany. Perfecto!" - L. Good
"We have lived abroad for many years and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our perfect vacation." - M. Rau

|Leopoldina style villa - A centuries old, authentic Tuscan structure featuring thick stone walls and thick beam ceilings. This style of villa lends itself to larger and open rooms. This quality restoration preserved many architectural details: vaulted brick ceilings on the ground floor, a two sided brick fireplace and the billiard room's stone walls. Antiques from a nobleman's estate collection along with a few country pieces and comfortable furnishings make this a very welcoming Tuscan home.
Interior Amenities: All the bedrooms and the billiard room have air conditioning. Window screens are in the kitchen, dining room, living rooms and the bedrooms. Each bathroom has a hairdryer.
Layout Notes: When rented to 14 guests, guests staying in one of the ground floor bedrooms will walk down to the lower level for their bathroom. For outdoor dining, there are three furnished areas: front and rear patios and a covered portico near the pizza oven and barbecue.

The covered pergola along the side of the one bedroom cottae is furnished as a fully covered dining area with a wood burning pizza oven and a separate wood fired barbecue.|
