General Description
When thinking of what constitutes a great base for multiple day trips, Camaleonte immediately comes to mind. It is in a small town with a grocery store, a restaurant, a coffee shop and a five mile, wooded trail that ends on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. A scant 15 minute drive along easy paved roads leads to the autostrada and the rest of Italy.

Camaleonte is a comfortable, modern two family home with a pool. Ghibellino, entirely at ground level, overlooks the garden and the lake from its veranda. Guelfo, on two levels, overlooks Lake Trasimeno and Montepulciano from its upper floor. Each unit has a private, covered outdoor dining area, screened windows, satellite television and a washing machine. A maid or cook for evening meals may be requested when booking.

Pozzuolo is right over the Tuscan border, 15 minutes east of Montepulciano and 10 minutes west of Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. The Chiusi train station is 15 minutes away.
