Architects have beautifully showcased the authentic features: wood beam ceilings and terracotta tile flooring are found throughout.
Interior Amenities: All the air conditioned bedrooms offer memory foam mattresses. Bathrooms are supplied with portable hair dryers and toilet tissue. Every window and door is screened. A laptop with ADSL Wi-Fi and a printer is available. For entertainment, the satellite TV service includes English language movie channels and a DVD player is provided along with a collection of English language movies. Portable speakers are provided.
Layout Notes: There is one bedroom on a sublevel with limited natural sunlight coming from a ceiling level window. The open floor plan on the ground level provides a spacious and inviting gathering area. The furnished patio located off of the dining room is fully covered and is furnished as both a dining and living area.

|Villa Paradiso is total relaxation - this outstanding luxury home is furnished and equipped with all the comforts of home both inside and outside. The location may be a mid-point between Florence and Rome but guests may not want to leave the house! A tennis court with evening lights, a bocce court and ping pong are on-site.
Thoughtfully designed for outdoor living, the beautifully landscaped grounds are an oasis complete with grape vines, olive trees, a strawberry patch, a vegetable garden and fruit trees. A fully covered patio with sensational views of Orvieto serves as a living and dining area - the perfect spot for enjoying golden hued sunsets and enchanting evenings.
A superb kitchen with top level appliances and equipment. The chefs in the group have their choice of an indoor or outdoor barbecue fireplace along with a gas grill.

|Upon exiting the A1 autostrada and passing by Orvieto, the route to Villa Paradiso is along an easy paved road. The final approach along the estate's driveway is 100 yards of gravel with a short steep driveway paved with flat stones.|

|Shopping and Dining: The modern town of Orvieto Scalo is a 10 minute drive with cafes, pizzerie and three supermarkets, including a COOP market, open on Saturday and Sunday until 8 pm. For more ambience, drive 18 minutes up to the medieval hill town of Orvieto with a selection of local grocers, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries.
Not To Be Missed in the center of Orvieto:
The Duomo with free admission is one of the most important examples of Gothic architecture. The Chapel of the Madonna di San Brizio contains a fresco series by Luca Signorelli.
The Museo Archaeologico Papali and the Museo Claudio Faina, across from the Duomo, contain Etruscan artifacts and Roman coins.
Public Transportation: The Orvieto Scalo train station is on a main line with service to Florence or Rome. The most direct trains to Florence take over two hours and those heading to Rome take 90 minutes.
Open Air Markets: In Orvieto's Piazza del Popolo, there is a morning market on Thursday and Saturday. Morning markets are held in Perugia on Tuesday and in Citta della Pieve or Todi on Saturday. An antique market is held in Todi on the Second Sunday of each month. Todi has an Italian Antique Exhibition taking place from April 15th - May 1st.
Festivals: In Orvieto, the first week of September is the Street Theater Festival. Orvieto hosts Umbria Jazz during the week between Christmas and New Year's into New Year's Day.
