Interior Amenities: Wi-Fi access for those with a laptop is available. One hairdryer is present.

Layout Notes: The living room is the smallest of all the rooms and has one very small window at the top of the ceiling. The largest room is the bathroom with two sinks and a step-in tub with shower fixture.

This property is located within a small village; however a car is necessary since there is no public transportation.

The eat-in kitchen features a stove top, oven, fridge and dishwasher.

Limited Parking
Parking is free outside the town's medieval walls, about 200 yards away.

As a former wine cellar on a lower ground level, there are very few, small windows that are positioned high up on the wall. While this helps keep the apartment cool, it also limits natural sunlight. Guests renting during the spring and late fall season should expect to use the heat to dry out any moisture from the stone structure.

During winter months, two of the three restaurants in the village close for a long vacation leaving one that's open. Within a two mile drive of the village, another three restaurants are open.

No Smoking
This property is strictly for non-smokers.

Steps & Stairs
From the town parking area, walk 200 yards and down 4 steps to the entrance. Guests may drive up to the entrance to drop off their luggage. Between each room there are scattered, uneven stone steps with the most being eight high stone steps to reach the kitchen.

A portable cellular phone is made available at check-in. The phone is typically charged with 25 or 50 Euro worth of calling time. Guests only pay for the usage consumed. If you require additional minutes, please ask your keyholder for assistance.

The experience of living in a small medieval village with a few restaurants within walking distance and having an outdoor garden with exceptional views - a unique find for a town location.

Ideal for the couple who wants to step back in time and be surrounded by medieval architecture while enjoying the modern conveniences of a large marble laden bathroom and a compact yet well equipped kitchen.

Road Condition
Upon exiting the autostrada, the scenic route to Montefollonico is along easy, paved roads. Due to the narrow lanes once inside the village, midsize or smaller cars are recommended in order to drop off luggage at Galantino's entrance.

Satellite Basic package - A limited number of channels with most of them being Italian. There are one or two news channels in the English language.

Montefollonico is a hilltop village between two valleys: the Val di Chiana and the Val d'Orcia. From the furnished garden, guests enjoy exceptionally beautiful and far reaching views over the Tuscan countryside.

Washing Machine
There is a common laundry area with a washing machine shared with the guests of Casa Galante.
