Situated in a residential area, Villa Eden is immersed in a stunning garden amidst palms, olive and almond trees, lavender and exotic flowers. Free for the picking, lemons, oranges, peaches, apricots, pears, plums and more are all within arm's length. Views are of the lush garden equipped with a gazebo, a brick barbecue and tree lights for evening use.
The spacious and comfortable interiors include beautifully restored antiques. Hand painted tiles adorn the kitchen and baths, and the huge living area has a fireplace and piano. Each bedroom is air conditioned, and most rooms have screens. A maid or a cook may be requested when booking.
The friendly, English-speaking owner's family resides in another home attached to one side. It is barely noticeable thanks to a dividing stone wall along Villa Eden's furnished patio.
An excellent restaurant is 50 yards away. Less than two miles away is the summer resort town and beaches of Isola delle Femmine with restaurants, cafés, shops and frequent buses to Palermo. Guests renting Villa Eden May through August are guaranteed free entrance to a nearby hotel's beach club that includes use of their swimming pool.
Villa Eden is a mere 10 minutes from the A29 highway with Palermo or the airport being a 20 minute drive: Monreale: 25; Cefalů, Trapani or Erice: 60; Marsala or Selinunte: 90; Agrigento: 120.
