For those taking along a laptop or an Internet capable device (ie. tablets, smartphones, iPads, iPhones), a satellite WiFi modem is provided. Up to five devices within the modem's range have Internet access.

Heating and firewood for the fireplace(s) are payable locally.

Interior Décor
Thoughtfully decorated for an uncluttered, comfortable feel. Both bedrooms are of equal proportion however the queen size bedroom may seem larger due to the shape of the room. Queen size bedroom has a window with a sea view while the second bedroom does not. The single beds are 5.5 feet long. There is an air conditioning unit in the hall that keeps the living room and both bedrooms cool; this requires leaving the bedroom doors open.

For simple meals, a small kitchen area is hidden in an armoire featuring a U.S. style coffee maker in addition to a stove top, toaster oven and fridge.

From the outside, the cottage is a very simple, stone structure. When sitting on the terrace, neighbors may be seen using the home's outdoor stairway that leads down to the beach.

No Smoking
This property is strictly for non-smokers.

Parking is free at the property.

Steps & Stairs
From the parking area, walk 16 feet and then down 23 steps to the main entrance.

A portable cellular phone is available and upon arrival, is charged with 25 or 50 Euro. Guests pay for all calls made. The keyholder may assist with replenishing the usage card if necessary.

A cozy cottage right along a stretch of sandy beach with a huge, furnished rooftop terrace. While the property is on a sandy beach, many historical and cultural attractions are within a short drive.

Road Condition
By car, the final 200 yards on a narrow and at times winding, paved road.

The bedroom with two small, single beds has window screens.

Being right on the beach, there are panoramic, sea views of the Gulf of Noto may be seen from both inside and outside with the exception of the bedroom with two single beds.

Washing Machine
This property is equipped with a washing machine.

What's nearby
Shopping and Dining: Basic shopping needs are within a 500 yard walk and the closest restaurant is in Chiusa di Carlo, 5 minute drive. Additional shopping and dining options can be found in Avola, 10 minute drive. The Supermercato Peppe Nappa, on Via Siracusa in the center of Avola, is open daily and closed on Sunday afternoon.

Not To Be Missed: Visit the ancient ruins of Eloro, a 10 minute drive. In Noto, the Baroque Spring festival held in the month of May, sixteen different artists cover the street with their own unique design of flowers, 10 minute drive. In the fishing town of Marzamemi or Marsa al Hamen, as it was originally known, you may visit the ruins of a Roman shipwreck. Marzamemi is the backdrop of many Italian movies due to the extraordinary sea views, 30 minute drive.

Tennis: In Avola, public courts are available for use.

Open Air Markets: In Avola, every second Thursday of the month. On Wednesday in Siracusa and Ragusa.

Feasts: In Avola, the feast of San Sebastiano is held on the second Sunday of May. In Noto, the Primavera Barocca or the Baroque Spring Festival is held during the third week of May from a Thursday to Saturday. In Siracusa, the feast of Santa Lucia is held on the 13th of December.
