Situated in a large grove of palms, lemon trees and oleanders, la Florida offers sweeping views of Lago di Garda and the sheltering mountains that provide the area with its warm climate.
La Florida is a vacation complex comprised of 12 one-bedroom apartments in the main building and five studio apartments in an annex on a level below. Palma is the one bedroom style apartment with a lake view balcony located in the main building and served by an elevator. The Pino studio units are side by side in a one level annex with doors opening to a lake view patio. Both have splendid lake views, efficiency kitchens and built-in hairdryers. These apartments may be rented on a nightly basis with a three night minimum.
Steps lead down from the comfortable lobby and reception desk to the annex, the gardens, the main pool and a children's pool. The pools are open from 8 am to 8 pm, starting May 1 through October 20. Other amenities include a giant outdoor chess game and a barbecue pit.
Heating, air conditioning and daily cleaning service with a towel change and a wireless connection in the reception are included in the price. Laundry service and breakfast are available for an additional cost.
A lakeside beach is 150 yards away and nearby are tennis courts, golf courses, boat rentals and horse stables. The English speaking staff of la Florida is delighted to share their knowledge of the region. They can help obtain tours of the lake and tickets to events, such as the opera in Verona. Gardone Riviera, just one of the many towns that glitter along Garda, is a five minute drive away. There you will find a lovely promenade with cafés, restaurants and shops. Brescia is within a 30 minute drive; Sirmione: 45; Verona or the Soave and Bardolino wine areas: 60; Milan: 90 and Venice: 120.
A tourist tax collected by the town of Gardone Riviera is paid separately on the first seven nights from May 15 – September 30. Children under age 15 are exempt.

Technical Description
Elevators access to the first or second floor: Entrance into a living/dining room with sofabed and glass doors to a furnished, lake view balcony. Kitchen with two burner stove top, fridge and microwave. One bedroom with a queen size bed and glass doors to the balcony. One bathroom with hairdryer, tub and shower. Upon request, the bedding can be changed into two single beds.
